Yvonne Arlene Brandt (Whitman) passed away on August 23, 2016 at the age of 91. She was born in Panora, Iowa to Beulah (Stillson) and Harlan Whitman.  After Harlan’s untimely death when she was 3 months old, she and her siblings were raised by Beulah and her second husband, Fred S. Whitman, on a farm 5 miles east of Panora.  Yvonne graduated from Panora High School and attended Park College in Missouri for one year.  She then met and married Milo C. Brandt and moved to Indianapolis, IN in 1949.  She loved to garden, sew, paint, do stain-glass, volunteer and in her later years do jigsaw puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, her parents, two sisters and a brother.  She will be very much missed by her sister Barbara (Bascom), daughters Cindy Barkdull (David Angers) and Kathy Emery (Jim), many nieces, nephews, and her very precious Robin Run friends.
